HEADER

The Bitterroot Dragon Brigade was formed in 2002. They are non-profit, tax exempt YOUTH tournament & demonstration Tae Kwon-Do team. The kids that participate range in age from 5-17 years old, and are from all over the Bitterroot Valley. The team’s main objectives are to build character, self worth, self esteem, as well as physical fitness through competition in the martial arts. The kids that participate learn how to set a goal and work hard to achieve it. We have enjoyed watching their self respect and respect for others grow.

Red Dragons

This team has won the Excel Karate League National Title four times in past years as well as many other awards. They do demonstrations at area schools, nursing homes, parades and other community events. In 2006, we even had the honor of doing a demonstration to open the Ovarian Cancer Awareness walk held in Gladstone, OR.

Panthers

The team is 100% dependent on community support and donations for their travel expenses. All coaches, instructors, chaperones and drivers volunteer their time as well as their vehicles for training and transport. We have grown from an original 13 members in 2002 to over 45 children in 2009. They have traveled for competition and demonstrations all over the state as well as Washington, Oregon, Wyoming, and Utah.
